Lente/zomer trends: van de catwalk naar de winkels

Langzaam aan zie je overal de nieuwe lente/zomer collecties binnen druppelen. En met name Zara, Mango en H&M slagen er altijd goed in de trends van de catwalk te "vertalen" naar hun eigen collecties.
Zo gaan we deze zomer heel veel denim zien, van spijkerjasjes en tuinbroeken tot jumpsuits en jurkjes. En ook de gladiator sandalen maken hun comeback (niet voor iedereen weggelegd trouwens, inclusief mijzelf).
Maar je ziet ook veel zwart en wit (gemixed of effen) of etnische prints en details. Iets waar Parisiennes dol op zijn..

Paris fashionweek: herfst-winter collecties (1)

De fashionweek in Parijs is volop in gang. Via Instagram en Facebook komen allerlei foto's en video's van de catwalk voorbij. En via livestreams kan je zelf ook frontrow mee kijken bij bijvoorbeeld Hèrmes en Givenchy. Echt een aanrader!

Paris Fashion Week favourites!

So I think my favourite collection this Paris Fashion Week fall/winter 2012 is that from Christian Dior. This was such a beautiful, elegant and sophisticated collection, i think i loved every piece. 

I also loved the collections from Balmain and Isabel Marant, although it was not very surprising in my opinion. Elie Saab made some beautiful dresses! And Lanvin & Mc Queen were real eye catchers. The collection from Chanel was not my favourite, but worth sharing.
